Nicknamed the Ronaldo of the Middle East, Ahmed Al-Muhammadi is said to be a summer transfer target for Roberto Martinez. The 22 year old presently plys his trade for ENPPI in Egypt, fierce rivals of Amr Zaki's former club, Zamelek. He is known as either a right back, or primarily a right winger and has drawn comparisons with Real Madrid's Ronaldo for his pace and trickery on the flank. Al-Muhammadi has been on trial with Sunderland, but Steve Bruce failed to agree a fee with ENPPI in January. Now the winger is said to be the subject of offers from both the Latics and Sunderland. Diaa Al-Sayed, the ENPPI assistant manager has been quoted as saying: "We have received two offers for Al-Muhammadi from Sunderland and Wigan. "I can't disclose the financial aspects of the offers. We will make our decision after the end of the season." He has 38 caps for Egypt and has scored one goal. CLICK HERE FOR THE MESSAGEBOARD
