Both Victor Moses and Hugo Rodallega are presently in contract talks with the club over extending their present deals.

Moses still has two years remaining on his present deal, but the former Crystal Palace midfielder is looking to extend this and commit his future to the club.

Speaking to the Wigan Observer, Moses said: "We're all disappointed with the way things have gone rcently, but all I know is I'm happy here, I love the club and I really want to stay.

"The contract is for my agent and the club to sort out. I've told him to get on with it, and come back to me when they're ready for me to sign.

"For the moment, though, all my focus is now on helping Wigan get away from the bottom of the league - I can't be worrying about anything else."

Meanwhile, Rodallega's present deal expires in the summer and there has been reported interest from both Arsenal and Liverpool in the Columbian international.

Speaking about the ongonig talks, Martinez told the Wigan Observer: "We're still talking. He's very important to us, and he's still developing as a young man.

"We've got a very good relationship with his agent, who is in Columbia, so it's sometimes difficult to have continuity in our talks.

"We all know he's got the potential to play at any club in world football so we need to enjoy him while he's with us.

"But it's important that we focus on getting a positive result on the pitch and then all of the individual results."

Both Moses and Rodallega are likely to feature in this weekend's clash with Fulham at the DW Stadium where hopefully their finishing will be sharper than at St James' Park last week.

The Wigan Observer is available every Tuesday priced at 75p.
