16 November 2010 08:17
Both Steven Caldwell and James McArthur have been called into the Scotland squad for their game with the Faroe Islands tonight. Following on from his injury at the weekend, Latics defender Gary Caldwell has pulled out of the squad as he aims to reach full fitness for the game with Manchester United at the weekend. One Caldwell's misfortune is anothers gain as Steven Caldwell has been called into the squad to replace his brother. James McArthur will also travel with the squad to provide cover for St Johnstone defender Murray Davidson who is struggling to be fit for the game. Speaking about the call up, Scotland boss Craig Levein said: "We've asked James McArthur to join the squad just in case something happens to Murray and he can't be involved. "James will join us this afternoon and if Murray does make it we will just have an extra young player in the squad." CLICK HERE FOR THE MESSAGEBOARD
