Latics close on Cho

Cho Won-hee's agent expects his client to complete his move to Wigan over the weekend.[LNB] The South Korea international impressed the Latics coaching staff during a recent two-day trial.[LNB]He is out of contract with K-League side Suwon BlueWings and will move to England as a free agent.[LNB]Providing the formalities of obtaining a work permit are pushed through without any problems, Cho will sign a contract with Wigan before Saturday's trip to Middlesbrough.[LNB]"Everything is done... we will sign with Wigan on Saturday or Sunday if Cho gets the permit," the player's representative Kim Dong-ho told The Korea Times.[LNB]Wigan boss Steve Bruce is also hopeful that an agreement can be put in place as soon as possible.[LNB]"He's done really well," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"We have been really impressed with him as a player and a person and we can sign him as he is not under contract with any club."
