Swansea and Wigan have finally agreed a compensation package for Roberto Martinez and his four backroom staff as the Spaniard's move to the JJB Stadium edges closer to completion. The two clubs had already agreed a fee of £2million for Martinez's services but have now negotiated a figure for assistant manager Graeme Jones, chief scout Kevin Reeves, goalkeeping coach Inaki Bergara and masseur Oscar Brau. Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins told his club's official website: "I don't think either club are totally happy with the final compensation figure agreed for the backroom staff. "But I think both clubs realise that this matter now needs to be concluded so that we can all move on and prepare for the new season. "The new fixture list is out on Wednesday and we are determined to be ready for the new Championship campaign when it kicks off on August 8. "We are also determined to start the campaign strongly and keep Swansea moving forward as a football club."
