Konan eyes English move

Cedric Konan has revealed he would love to play in the Premier League as he prepares to leave Lecce.[LNB] The 26-year-old Ivorian has been with Lecce since 2000 but is set to move on following their relegation from Serie A.[LNB]There has already been plenty of speculation about where he could be plying his trade next season and a number of top clubs are understood to be interested.[LNB]According to reports in Italy and France, Premier League trio Fulham, Wigan and Sunderland are all monitoring his situation.[LNB]French sides Sochaux and Metz have also been linked and Konan admits it is important he makes the right decision.[LNB]However, the powerful forward has made it clear that he would welcome the chance to go to England.[LNB]"I am 26 and a free agent, so there are contacts in the top leagues but I need to take a deep breath and make the right choice because I am not getting younger," he told skysports.com.[LNB]"I would love to play in England without a doubt."[LNB]
