Kapo released
Olivier Kapo joins Jason Koumas through the Wigan Athletic exit door as the out of favour 29 year old has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent. He wasn't happy with the club and the club were none too pleased with him. Olivier Kapo was a player from whom a great deal was expected at Wigan Athletic, but very little happened. It is somewhat unsurprising that he has now left the club to persue footballing options elsewhere. Kapo made 22 appearances for the club during his two years at the DW Stadium. He scored two goals.
