Kapo eyes return to France

Wigan midfielder Olivier Kapo has revealed he is not happy at the Barclays Premier League club and wants to return to France. Kapo moved to England in 2007, joining Steve Bruce's Birmingham City before following his coach to Wigan a year later. However, the 28-year-old is not happy with life at the JJB Stadium and, having only made 19 appearances this season, is looking for a move back to his homeland. "I have the impression that I am at a turning point in my career," Kapo told L'Equipe. Kapo added: "This year I haven't played much but neither was I happy at Wigan. "I want to leave and would like to come back to France. I want to show that the Kapo who was at Auxerre hasn't disappeared." Kapo, who has nine caps for France, made his name at Auxerre where his performances saw Serie A giants Juventus snap him up in 2004. However, he has failed to live up to his promise since then and spent two of his three seasons with the Bianconeri on loan at Monaco and Levante.
