Jefferies searching for leader
Hearts manager Jim Jefferies has begun the search for a new captain following the departure of Michael Stewart.
Vice-captain Marius Zaliukas has already deputised for Stewart but uncertainty over his own future means Jefferies will consider several options.
Jefferies told Hearts.TV: "We have an idea of the options to consider.
"Marius is out of contract at the end of December, I believe, so that might have a bearing on it.
"There are a couple of other players who have caught our eye.
"We'll look at that at the start [of pre-season] and that's something we'll look at in terms of attitude and who we think might have a chance."
