Henriquez linked with loan return

As Owen Coyle sets about building his team for the new season Manchester United striker Angelo Henriquez is being linked with a fresh loan move.

The 18 year old forward found first team opportunities hard to come by last season and he was largely frozen out by then manager Roberto Martinez.

However the young Chiliean international has indicated that he would like to return to the Latics and help with the promotion push to the Premier League.

Speaking at the end of last season he said: "I didn't play a lot of football, which was obviously the target when I arrived in January.

"But just being involved with a Premier League team, living the experience of first team football and learning from other players and other teams has been very good.

"I have enjoyed my time here and I wouldn't rule out coming here again if that is a possibility. Who knows?

"You always improve and pick up new things from new managers and new players. That was the point of the whole exercise, and I hope to show what I've learned when I return to Old Trafford."

Henriquez looked keen when given the opportunity to appear for the Latics and scored in the 3-2 loss to Sunderland at the DW Stadium.

The move will require approval by new United boss David Moyes but it is likely that Coyle will get his man as he looks to utilise the loan market to bolster the numbers in his squad.

Would Henriquez represent a good move for the Latics, is he capable of taking the Championship by storm? Let us know on the messageboard.
