Gohouri: We must beat Wolves

Wigan defender Steve Gohouri has labelled the Boxing Day clash with fellow strugglers Wolves as a must-win game. The Latics will travel to Molineux sitting one point and one place above their opponents, with both teams in the bottom three. Gohouri told the Wigan Evening Post: "It's such a big game against Wolves. And we have to win. That's it. I really don't care how bad we play as long as we get the three points, because that is the most important thing for us in the position we are in. "I know we have Arsenal up next, but all we are thinking about is Wolves, which is the biggest game of the season so far for us." Wigan can at least draw on recent memories of beating Wolves having claimed a 2-0 victory over their rivals in October following Karl Henry's early sending-off for the visitors. "We beat them here and we know what kind of game they are looking for," Gohouri added. "They got a red card early on, but we feel we can beat them 11 against 11, and it's another challenge for us."
