After returning to the first team for the game with Blackburn at the weekend following a calf injury, Steve Gohouri will be suspended for the visit of Liverpool on Wednesday after picking up hhis fifth yellow card. The 29 year old defender has grown with the club and has become an integral part of the defence. He has been sorely missed whilst spending time on the sidelines with a torn calf muscle. Gohouri picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Blackburn Rovers at the weekend and will have to sit out the visit of Liverpool on Wednesday evening. In other team news, Emmerson Boyce is said to be around a week away from fitness and it is unlikely that his hamstring injury will be risked, whilst James McCarthy will be out until at least January. Roberto Martinez is not said to have any fresh injury worries following the weekend's game with Blackburn. CLICK HERE FOR THE MESSAGEBOARD
