Momo Diame is more than ready for teh season's kick off in just over a week's time. The commanding midfielder is likely to play a big part in the Latics season this year as he looks to fully settle into the Premiership in his second season. Diame is ready for tonight's test against Spanish club Real Zaragoza in the only friendly to be played at the DW Stadium. He told the Wigan Evening Post: “You know what you are going to get with Spanish teams, and it will be a really tough test. “They are set out very well from a technical point of view, and I personally know Zaragoza are a good team. “It will be an excellent test for us ahead of the Premier League season.” Meanwhile, Latics boss Roberto Martinez added: “The game will be an exciting one for the fans. “I left Zaragoza to come to Wigan Athletic, and to have witnessed the changes that have taken place here in that space of time has provided a nice story. “Zaragoza will be a nice team to play against and it’s also one of those games I would love to see Wigan Athletic involved in regularly in European competitions very soon.” CLICK HERE FOR THE MESSAGEBOARD
