Di Santo ready for Rovers reunion

Franco Di Santo spent a large part of last season on loan at Ewood Park. The 21 year old striker is looking forward to the game with Blackburn and is hoping to net his first Latics goal. Di Santo joined the Latics on a permanent basis from Chelsea in the summer transfer window and has had a little trouble with an ankle injury. After making his come back against Fulham the Argentine striker is looking to get much more match action under his belt. Speaking to the club's official website, Di Santo said: "It has been frustrating [waiting for a goal] but I'm confident it will come and as long as we get the results we need that is all that matters."I know the Blackburn lads well after playing and training with them for a season, so who knows, maybe with that bit of knowledge of their game I might be able to anticipate certain moves during the game."Chris Samba and Ryan Nelsen are fantastic defenders, big and strong but also very good technically and if we are going to get past them to score we'll have to be concentrated."I've spoken to some of the players there who are enjoying the football Steve Kean has them playing, a lot more controlled play with some really good dangerous moves."But we're playing at home, we'll have our fans behind us and we need to dictate the game to make sure it is us who decide which way the game goes." Di Santo is likely to lead the line with Hugo Rodallega and Charles N'Zogbia, although Victor Moses and Callum McManaman are pushing hard for starts after impressive performances against Bolton.
