Cho Won-hee has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after tearing two of his calf muscles while on international duty.[LNB] The news will come as a blow to the Wigan midfielder as he looks to establish himself in the first team after signing on a free transfer last month.[LNB]The 25-year-old has only got as far as a place on the bench since his arrival as he looks to get accustomed to life in the Premier League.[LNB]The former Suwon Blue Wings ace was kicked in the leg during South Korea's friendly with Iraq last week with Cho worsening the injury in a World Cup qualifier against North Korea four days later.[LNB]Scans have confirmed that the player will be out for at least six weeks and with the end of the season just seven weeks away it is unlikely he will make his debut this term.[LNB]"We scanned the injury as soon as Won-hee returned to us last week, and we can confirm he has a grade three tear of two of his calf muscles," Wigan head physio Dave Galley explained.[LNB]FrustratingCho was obviously disappointed with the news but is determined to return to prove his worth to the Latics supporters.[LNB]"This is very frustrating for me," he said.[LNB]"I was so desperate to show the manager and fans what I can do. But I will now have to work my hardest to get fit."[LNB]Meanwhile manager Steve Bruce expressed his own disappointment when he remarked: "It's unfortunate for the lad because he was willing and has shown a terrific attitude.[LNB]"But our team are working with him and we will do everything we can to get him back as soon as we can."[LNB]
