The long journey to Stamford Bridge is never an easy one for Latics supporters. Coupled with the comical ticket prices, the Latics always seem to be on the wrong end of the scoreline in the capital. However both Charles N'Zogbia and Momo Diame are insistent that the Latics can surprise Chelsea and come away with the points. Speaking to the club's official website, N'Zogbia said: "It's not going to be easy. I watched them against Stoke City recently and they showed real character to get a draw from a difficult situation."You look at their squad and there are some big players there, particularly going forward, but we can't let that phase us, we have to be confident in ourselves and believe that we're capable of getting a result."We can definitely get a result at Stamford Bridge, we've showed we can go to big clubs and compete when we travelled to Anfield and White Hart Lane."In these final seven games we need belief, we need to first of all keep clean sheets and then score the goals to complete the chances we're creating." Whilst Diame is also confident of coming away with a result. He told the Wigan Evening Post:“We believe we can get points out of anybody. At the moment, with the situation we’re in, we have some really difficult matches coming up so we have to be of the belief that we can get something from every game. “Points are all that matter. It doesn’t matter who they are against or where they come from, we approach every game as if we can get something from them. “It doesn’t matter if it is Chelsea or anybody else but we proved last year that we could get something out of these games and we have got similar results this season as well and that is the attitude we’ll be taking on Saturday.”
