Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is hopeful new signing Cho Won-Hee can make an impact in the Premier League. The South Korea international has penned a two-and-a-half-year deal at the JJB Stadium after impressing whilst training with the Latics. And Bruce is keen to see if the former Suwon Blue Wings midfielder can transfer the ability and attitude he has witnessed onto the stage that is England's top flight. Bruce said: "When you sign a player from overseas it's always about how they adapt to playing in England, but with his personality he will give himself every chance. "Talent alone is never enough, but through hard work and effort I am sure he will be okay. "He is industrious, hard working, and he possesses a never-say-die attitude. He is tough, wants to win, you can see that with the way he trains. "In fact, he has illuminated training. When he first joined us all the other players went 'Wow! Who is this guy?' "But it's about the demands of the Premier League, and we hope and we think he will cope with it." Cho also revealed that Park Ji-Sung's success at Manchester United drove him to secure a move to the Premier League. He said: "When I was in the Korean League, I was watching him play in England and I had a dream to come to the Premier League after watching him. "Watching him play was such a motivation for me. I have known him for many years playing with the national team. "Since he is already playing in the Premier League and living in England, I'm sure he will be able to help me. "Even if Park wasn't here, I would still have been eager to come because the English Premier League is one of the best in the whole world."
