Wigan Athletic manager Steve Bruce has challenged youngster Tomasz Cywka to earn a place in the club's first-team squad.[LNB] Cywka, 20, arrived at the JJB Stadium in 2006 and has since made just two senior Latics appearances.[LNB]Striker Henri Camara recently joined Stoke City on loan, and Bruce is keen to fill the void left by the Senegalese.[LNB]Bruce has been impressed by Cywka, who has played up front for the reserves of late, and is hopeful he can make an impact between now and the end of the term.[LNB]OpportunityHe told the Wigan Evening Post: "One of the reasons I let Camara go to Stoke was because I've been really impressed with Cywka.[LNB]"The kid has now got the opportunity to show me that he can be our fourth striker. He's done well in attack playing for the reserves.[LNB]"He's got a big chance for the next three months, and it's good for me to be able to give a young player this experience.[LNB]"We'll be sitting down with him and the other Polish boy (Tomasz Kupisz) in the next two or three weeks to get them tied up on new contracts."[LNB]
