Estudiantes striker Mauro Boselli is set to complete his move to the DW Stadium this week after Martinez beat Sunderland boss Steve Bruce to his signature. A fee of around £6.2 million has been agreed for the striker and should the deal go through, the fee will be a record for the club. The player is currently half owned by Boca Juniors, and a meeting between the three clubs is needed to finalise the fee. "We have now received the new offer from Wigan in England and we need to chat with the directors of Boca and the representatives of Marco so we can define the transfer," said Estudiantes president Ruben Filipas. In other transfer news, the move for James McArthur seems set to reach a conclusion soon. The Latics are said to be in the box seat as McArthur's fellow former Hamilton colleague, James McCarthy has been selling the Latics to the 23 year old. McArthur is also attracting interest from Birmingham City, Swansea City, and Leeds United. His agent, the infamous Willie McKay said: "There are a few clubs who have made their interest known to Hamilton, and we're waiting to see what happens next." CLICK HERE FOR THE MESSAGEBOARD
