Adrian Boothroyd has declared his interest in the Swansea City job, according to the club's chairman. Current Swans manager Roberto Martinez looks set to leave for Wigan Athletic, once a dispute over the release of coaching staff is resolved. Bury boss Alan Knill has already distanced himself from succeeding Martinez, but former Watford manager Boothroyd would be keen on the role. "He has declared an interest," said Jenkins. Jenkins is also confident Martinez's move to the JJB Stadium, which was expected to be confirmed on Thursday, will be sealed in the coming days. He added: "We are hoping to resolve our differences with Wigan this weekend."
