Blues clash is massive - Martinez

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez admits Saturday's visit of Birmingham is a "massive" match for his club. The Latics are bottom of the Barclays Premier League but victory at the weekend would put them within a point of the Carling Cup winners, currently 17th. Wigan have won just once in the league since Boxing Day, but with only nine matches remaining, Martinez knows they must take advantage of their home games, of which they have four. "The weekend's game is massive but an exciting challenge for the whole club," said the Spaniard. "We need our supporters to play a big role as usual - we need to create an intimidating atmosphere in the DW Stadium."
