Blackburn join Aston Villa and Wigan in hunt for £10m Sporting Gijon's Roberto Canella

Tough cookie: Gijon's Canella (left) makes life difficult for Real Valladolid's Nauzet Aleman[LNB]Blackburn Rovers are tracking Sporting Gijon left back Roberto Canella.[LNB]However, the Spanish club's £10million valuation could prove a barrier to his move to Ewood Park.[LNB]Cash-strapped Sporting could do with the funds generated by selling the Spain Under 21 international, who is out of contract next summer, and hope for renewed interest from Aston Villa and Wigan Athletic.[LNB]A spokesman for the Spanish club said: 'We know about this interest but Blackburn have not officially spoken to us.[LNB]'This subject is over until the end of the season.
