Black - Zaki is disrespectful

Wigan assistant manager Eric Black has accused AWOL striker Amr Zaki of being 'disrespectful' to the club.[LNB] Zaki has infuriated Latics boss Steve Bruce after failing to return to the club from international duty with Egypt.[LNB]Bruce revealed the latest incident is the fourth time the on-loan star has failed to report back on time after representing Egypt.[LNB]Zaki has failed to show for training even though compatriot Mido was able to return on time from also playing for Egypt.[LNB]Bruce launched a scathing attack on Zaki and Black has backed the manager's blast revealing the club are still in the dark about his whereabouts.[LNB]"Most of the players were told to report back and certainly he was meant to be back on Monday," Black told Sky Sports News.[LNB]"He [Zaki] was meant to be back on Monday, obviously that hasn't materialised and we will just have to wait and see when he does return.[LNB]"We had initial contact about the hamstring injury after the game and obviously we have spoken to Mido, who arrived back on Monday, so we are led to believe he has a hamstring injury and he is being treated for that, but that's as much as we know at the moment."[LNB]Asked if Zaki should have returned to Wigan for treatment on the injury, Black added: "In an ideal scenario that is the way we would go forward with it. [LNB]"Sometimes we do allow them to stay in their own country to have treatment, obviously when permission has been given, but that has not been the case.[LNB]"I think his [Bruce's] statement would suggest he is far from happy and I can fully understand and agree with what he is saying. [LNB]"It is pretty disrespectful to the group and to the manager and to the club and to the supporters so the manager has obviously dealt with it in the right manner."[LNB]
