Aston Villa warn Charles N'Zogbia over move but Shay Given set to sign

Aston Villa have warned Charles N'Zogbia he must make up his mind soon or face missing out on a ?10million move. [LNB]But Alex McLeish is having better luck in his attempts to sign Shay Given, with the goalkeeper set to join from Manchester City. [LNB]N'Zogbia is Alex McLeish's top target to replace Stewart Downing, who has left to join Liverpool for ?20m, but the move has stalled with the Wigan midfielder holding out for a higher offer than the ?50,000-a-week on the table from Villa. Last summer McLeish tried to sign the Frenchman for Birmingham only for the move to break down over personal terms at the 11th hour.
