Follow Sportsmail's coverage of Tuesday night's football where in the second-leg of the Carling Cup semi-final, Arsenal will look to turn around a goal deficit at home to Ipswich. In the Premier League Blackpool host Manchester United and Wigan play at home to Aston Villa.[LNB] Live scoresPremier League[LNB]Blackpool 2-3 Manchester United FT[LNB]Wigan 1-2 Aston Villa FT[LNB]Carling Cup semi-final[LNB]Arsenal 3-0 Ipswich (3-1 agg) FT[LNB]21.45: Which brings us to United. At the start of the second-half they were 2-0 down and lucky to escape conceding a penalty. [LNB]But once that first goal went in for the Red Devils, they scented blood and you have to give them credit for what was a brilliant comeback.[LNB]That's all from me this evening but check back again tomorrow where there is more Premier League action with Liverpool taking on Fulham, and the matter of West Ham against Birmingham to see who will face Arsenal in the Carling Cup final.[LNB]Thank you for following and good night.[LNB]21.44: Fearing a relegation battle at the start of the night. Villa move up to 13th and are just three points behind seventh spot, surely they are looking up rather down for the rest of the season.[LNB]Wigan I'm afraid are prime candidates to go down. They can play good stuff but are not clinical enough in front of goal.[LNB]They are a point away from Birmingham and safety, but City have played two games less.[LNB]21.42: Joy for the Gunners then and they will make the trip to Wembley next month for the Carling Cup final.[LNB]Ipswich can at least be content that they gave it their all, but the hosts were simply too strong.[LNB]21.40: Full-time: Arsenal 3-0 Ipswich (Arsenal win 3-1 on aggregate)[LNB]21.38: Just two minutes of injury time to be played at the Emirates Stadium.[LNB]21.37: Full-time: Wigan 1-2 Aston Villa[LNB]21.35: United join what had been an exclusive club to Spurs this season, InfoStradaLive will explain:[LNB]The only team to win after being 2 goals down this #EPL season was Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 at Arsenal on 20 Nov 2010[LNB]21.33: As you can imagine it's cruise control at the Emirates Stadium. We are just playing out time there.[LNB]21.32: It is widely  believed that to win the title you need belief, quality and a bit of luck. United in vast bundles displayed all three this evening.[LNB]21.30: Full-time: Blackpool 2-3 Manchester United[LNB]21.28: Out comes the kitchen sink at the DW Stadium. Ben Watson with at least a half-chance as he slices an effort just past Friedel's post.[LNB]21.25: GOAL! ARSENAL 3-0 Ipswich[LNB]The Gunners are going to Wembley. Ipswich are caught with too many in attack and Cesc Fabregas runs half of the pitch, playing a one-two with Andrey Arshavin, before clipping the ball past Fulop.[LNB]21.24: GOAL! WIGAN 1-2 Aston Villa[LNB]Big deflection on this one but the hosts deserve this on effort alone.[LNB]James McCarthy's 25 yard effort beats Friedel via James Collins and we have an interesting last 10 minute here.[LNB]21.22: And it all comes back to that penalty decision that Luke Varney should have got. United not for the first time this season have rode their luck big time![LNB]21.20: One piece of consolation for the home fans...there are 10 minutes of injury time![LNB] Comeback complete: Berbatov (left) celebrates scoring his second goal late in the game[LNB]21.17: GOAL! Blackpool 2-3 MANCHESTER UNITED[LNB]Heartbreak for the home side and I do not use that lightly. Paul Scholes pings a brilliant ball up for Dimitar Berbatov who homes in on goal before blasting past Kingson for his 20th goal of the season. How many times have we seen Fergie's side do this?[LNB]21.14: United have all of a sudden found another gear. Hernandez really has had a massive impact on this game and you would fancy the visitors to get the winner should there be one.[LNB] Heads I win: Koscielny heads in Arsenal's second goal which put them ahead in the tie[LNB]21.11: GOAL! ARSENAL 2-0 Ipswich[LNB]Ipswich are crumbling. Fulop who has been so effective between the sticks so far comes for a corner but is beaten in the air by the head of Laurent Koscielny. The Tractor Boys have to score to at least take this to extra-time.[LNB] At last: Bendtner eventually ended Ipswich's resolve[LNB]21.08: GOAL! ARSENAL 1-0 Ipswich[LNB]The Gunners have needed their Premier League class and here it is.[LNB]Nicklas Bendtner shows neat skill to cut inside from the left before curling a strike across goal into the bottom corner.[LNB] Made in Mexico: Hernandez came off the bench to score Manchester United's equaliser[LNB]21.06: GOAL! Blackpool 2-2 MANCHESTER UNITED[LNB]This is typical United. Javier Hernandez beats the offside trap again to latch onto Giggs' pass but this time Kingson can do nothing as the Mexican fires the ball underneath him.[LNB] Spot on: Ashley Young doubles Aston Villa's lead from the penalty spot[LNB]21.05: GOAL! Wigan 0-2 ASTON VILLA[LNB]No complaints here, Hendry Thomas needlessly brings down Ashley Young who picks himself up to bury home the penalty.[LNB]21.04: PENALTY (Aston Villa)[LNB]21.03: Marlon Harewood is on for Gary Taylor-Fletcher as Holloway resists bringing on a defender.[LNB] One back: Berbatov scores Manchester United's first goal of the night[LNB]21.02: GOAL! Blackpool 2-1 MANCHESTER UNITED[LNB]Game on! Nani sends Darren Fletcher through inside the box where the Scot squares for Dimitar Berbatov to tap home into an open goal.[LNB]21.00: What a crucial save from Kingson! Javier Hernandez beats the offside trap to put himself one-on-one with the keeper but the Ghanaian gets enough on it as it goes through his legs to enable his defence to clear.[LNB]20.58: Holloway responds by bringing on Matt Phillips for Varney.[LNB]20.57: It's all over for the anonymous Rooney who is replaced by the Mexican magic of Javier Hernandez.[LNB]20.56: Not the easiest chance in the world but you expect more from a man of his experience.[LNB]nani crosses the ball from the right byline but at the far post Ryan Giggs hits a left volley that goes well wide of the post.[LNB]20.53: And we are finally back under way at the Emirates Stadium.[LNB] Better late than never: Aston Villa's Gabriel Agbonlahor scores his first league goal of the season[LNB]20.52: GOAL! Wigan 0-1 ASTON VILLA[LNB]Al Habsi is furious after he makes a brilliant stop to deny a header from Carlos Cuellar, only for Gabriel Agbonlahor to tap in his first goal in the Premier League this season.[LNB]20.50: Brilliant save from Al Habsi. Ashley Young was at a tight angle when he shot but it's a good reflex save from the stopper who tipped it away for a corner.[LNB]20.47: We are up and running again at the DW Stadium.[LNB]20.45: The Ghanaian looks fine to continue though and Seasiders fans can breath a sigh of relief.[LNB]20.42: A worry for Blackpool, Richard Kingson has gone down after getting his studs caught in the ground as he adjusted to make a save and he is going to receive some treatment.[LNB]20.39: Not a huge response from United so far, Blackpool even have a penalty shout when Rafael clatters into Varney in the box. I have seen those given many, many times.[LNB]20.36: Half-time: Arsenal 0-0 Ipswich[LNB]20.35: We are back underway at Bloomfield Road.[LNB]20.34: Transfer request or not, Charlie Adam has been exceptional for Blackpool. No one ever doubt his professionalism.[LNB]20.32: Half-time: Wigan 0-0 Aston Villa[LNB]20.31: It is just wave after wave of Arsenal attack. I will be simply amazed if Ipswich keep a clean sheet in this game. Four minutes of injury time as Johan Djourou receives treatment.[LNB] Faded: Aston Villa and Wigan struggled to create chances as the first half wore on[LNB]20.29: Just a couple of minutes until half-time and it has been a superb display from Ipswich who although have survived some shaky moments have held firm up until this point.[LNB]20.26: It's gone quiet at the DW Stadium, we may have used up all our chances there in the first 15 minutes.[LNB]20.23: No kidding, I was ready to type goal! Jack Wilshere plays a superb pass for Fabregas who eight yards out and at a slight angle fires his shot across goal and wide. You would back him to score it nine times out of 10.[LNB]20.21: What a story at Bloomfield Road. Fergie will no doubt be giving out the famous hairdryer treatment.[LNB]20.20: Half-time: Blackpool 2-0 Manchester United[LNB]20.17: Rocky moments for Ipswich. First Fulop fumbles a free-kick to Bendtner who is quickly hounded out by a million blue shirts to prevent him from shooting.[LNB]Moments later Fulop is again involved as he appears to bring down Van Persie one-on-one. No penalty is given though.[LNB] Double header: Blackpool scored their second headed goal of the game through DJ Campbell[LNB]20.15: GOAL! BLACKPOOL 2-0 Manchester United[LNB]And they deserve it! Initially, David Vaughan's shot is well saved by Edwin Van der Sar to be tipped out for a corner.[LNB]But he can do nothing about this one, as again Adam whips in a cross and after a near-post flick on, DJ Campbell powers home another header.[LNB]20.13: How many more chances will Wigan waste? James McCarthy tees up Rodallega but in a rush of blood to the head sends his effort over the bar.[LNB]20.10: So close for Arsenal! Bendtner clips in a cross from the right byline and Van Persie meets it with a header that crashes off the crossbar before the Championship side clear in a panic. [LNB]20.08: No sign of a United equaliser, if anything the Seasiders look more like getting a second. They are not holding back even with a goal lead.[LNB] Battle: Ipswich's Colin Healy and Arsenal's Jack Wilshere tussle for the ball[LNB]20.05: First big chance for Arsenal. Bendtner slips through Fabregas but the Spaniard's effort across goal inside the box is well stopped by Marton Fulop in the Ipswich goal.[LNB]20.02: Top game at the DW, at the other end Hugo Rodallega's deflected shot is well stopped by Brad Friedel.[LNB]20.00: Bit of a delay in the action at the Emirates Stadium as Bacary Sagna gets treatment after he collided with his own keeper as he tried to contest a header with Gareth McAuley. The full-back is getting the old 'How many fingers am I holding up?' routine.[LNB]19.58: Oh my what a chance! Luke Varney squares the ball into the box for DJ Campbell who unmarked, blazes his first time strike over. Really must do better.[LNB]19.56: Some good pressure from Villa ending with Stewart Downing's effort well saved by Ali Al Habsi.[LNB]19.53: Not quite backs to the wall yet for Ipswich who so far have only seen Robin van Persie fire well wide inside the box when he perhaps should have done better.[LNB]19.51: Good start at the DW Stadium, Emmerson Boyce's cross is met by the head of Franco Di Santo who sees his effort go just wide.[LNB] Head master: Craig Cathcart heads Blackpool into the lead against Manchester United[LNB]19.48: GOAL! BLACKPOOL 1-0 Manchester United[LNB]Adam swings in a corner and former Red Devil Craig Cathcart leaves his marker Berbatov standing before bulleting a header in from six yards out. The roof nearly comes off at Bloomfield Road.[LNB]19.46: We are underway in the other two games.[LNB]19.45: Sir Alex Ferguson is fuming. Charlie Adam cuts across Patrice Evra to win the ball but seems to catch the Frenchman with his arm.[LNB]The proof being the full-back has to leave with a bloody face.[LNB]19.43: Teams are out at the Emirates Stadium and the DW Stadium. Both grounds not full except for the away end at the former.[LNB]19.40: Not much of the gung-ho approach that Blackpool have adapted for much of the season. [LNB]The home side are very cautious and United are just slightly edging this although we still await our first chance.[LNB]19.37: The Scot is back on, much to the relief of Ian Holloway.[LNB]19.36: I hope this is not his last moment in a Blackpool shirt, I really do.[LNB]Adam tries to play a through ball for DJ Campbell but in doing so slips and falls awkwardly on his arm and is visibly in some pain[LNB]He has gone off for the time being but you can bet he is desperate to get back on.[LNB]19.35: The empty seats are indeed a segregation, as Berbatov just mis-times his run off a Nani pass to be flagged for offside.[LNB]19.32: Some early boos for Wayne Rooney but not much else in the opening exchanges.[LNB]19.31: Dimitar Berbatov and Darron Gibson kick us off. [LNB]19.28: Teams are out to a huge cheer from the home crowd, brilliant atmosphere as ever at Bloomfield Road.[LNB]19.26: Bloomfield Road is packed. Except for one block in the stand opposite the tunnel which does not have one person in it. Strange because it does not look like it's segregating the opposing fans and even if it was it's a huge gap.[LNB]19.25: Arsene Wenger names a strong side for tonight's Carling Cup semi-final second leg against Ipswich, with in-form Dutch striker Robin van Persie and captain Cesc Fabregas both in the starting XI.[LNB]There were just two changes from the side which beat Wigan 3-0 in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday, Andrey Arshavin and Nicklas Bendtner coming in with Theo Walcott and Samir Nasri dropping to the bench.[LNB]Ipswich hold a narrow 1-0 lead from the first leg at Portman Road, and manager Paul Jewell has attacking options in goalscorer Tamas Priskin and highly-rated youngster Connor Wickham.[LNB]19.24: And finally from the DW Stadium:[LNB]Wigan v Aston VillaWigan: Al Habsi, Gohouri, Boyce, Steven Caldwell, Figueroa, McArthur, McCarthy, Thomas, N'Zogbia, Di Santo, Rodallega. Subs: Pollitt, Watson, Moses, Gomez, Diame, Stam, McManaman.Aston Villa: Friedel, Cuellar, Dunne, Collins, Baker, Makoun, Reo-Coker, Downing, Agbonlahor, Bent, Ashley Young. Subs: Marshall, Pires, Albrighton, Delfouneso, Heskey, Petrov, Herd.Referee: Jon Moss (W Yorkshire)[LNB]19.22: Team news from the Emirates Stadium:[LNB]Arsenal v IpswichArsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Djourou, Koscielny, Clichy, Denilson, Wilshere, Fabregas, Bendtner, Arshavin, van Persie. Subs: Shea, Nasri, Walcott, Song, Eboue, Gibbs, Chamakh.Ipswich: Fulop, Leadbitter, McAuley, Delaney, O'Dea, Kennedy, Healy, Norris, Edwards, Wickham, Priskin. Subs: Lee-Barrett, Peters, O'Connor, Scotland, Hyam, Smith, Civelli.Referee: Mark Halsey (Lancashire)[LNB]19.20: A couple of juicy stats from OptaJoe for you before we get going:[LNB]9 - Wigan Athletic have failed to score in nine Premier League games this term; more than any other side. Feeble.[LNB]142 - Blackpool have conceded 142 shots on target in the PL this season; the most, while the Man Utd have conceded the fewest; 65. Gap.[LNB]19.18: And of course the problem with setting high expectations early on is you then have to live up to them.[LNB]By costing £24million and scoring on his debut, Darren Bent better fill his boots at DW Stadium.[LNB]For Wigan however, this is a great chance to grab three points that would take them out of the relegation zone (and if they win by three) take them above Villa.[LNB]19.15: Kicking off at 7.45pm is the night's other two games.[LNB]Ipswich will be looking to cause a huge shock just by avoiding defeat against Arsenal but the Gunners are not known for being shy in front of goal, and I think Paul Jewell's side are going to have to do more than simply park their tractors in front of the goal.[LNB]19.12: First up tonight is Blackpool against Manchester United which kicks-off at the slightly strange time of 7.30pm.[LNB]Two big questions surround this one. Can Blackpool add another high to their extraordinary season by ending Manchester United's unbeaten record, and is this Charlie Adam's final game for the Seasiders?[LNB]19.09: In case you are not quite up to speed, the sexism scandal has gone on to a new level with this video being the last straw for Sky in regards to Gray.[LNB]Strictly as a pundit I will miss him, at the risk of making an unpopular comment I am a big fan of his analysis on games.[LNB]19.06: Charlie Adam is named in Blackpool's starting line-up for their first top-flight encounter with Manchester United for 40 years despite handing in a transfer request.[LNB]Seasiders boss Ian Holloway keeps his promise to play the Liverpool target, having claimed 'he would kill me' if he did not.[LNB]There is still no Rio Ferdinand for the Barclays Premier League leaders but Paul Scholes returns as United look to stretch their advantage at the top to five points.[LNB]19.03: Team news from Bloomfield Road:[LNB]Blackpool v Manchester UtdBlackpool: Kingson, Eardley, Cathcart, Evatt, Baptiste, Grandin, Adam, Vaughan, Taylor-Fletcher, Campbell, Varney. Subs: Rachubka, Southern, Harewood, Ormerod, Sylvestre, Phillips, Edwards.Man Utd: Van der Sar, Rafael Da Silva, Smalling, Vidic, Evra, Scholes, Fletcher, Gibson, Nani, Berbatov, Rooney. Subs: Lindegaard, Owen, Anderson, Giggs, Hernandez, Fabio Da Silva, Evans.Referee: Peter Walton (Northamptonshire)[LNB]19.00: Good evening and first of all let me start by commenting on what a momentous 24 hours in the football world tonight could be.[LNB]It started last night with Richard Keys and Andy Gray not taking up their usual places on Monday Night Football, which produced what has been my favourite goal of the season so far.[LNB]Didier Drogba's 30 yard screamer was worth the entrance money to the Reebok Stadium alone as Chelsea romped to a 4-0 victory at Bolton.[LNB]And now with the news Gray has been sacked by Sky, the show goes on with a Carling Cup semi-final, an unbeaten run on the line and the spotlight on a certain £24million of talent at the DW Stadium. I can't wait.[LNB]Team news as ever on the way.[LNB] Sing when you're winning: Ipswich's Marton Fulop and Gareth McAuley will be aiming for another clean sheet at the Emirates Stadium, which would be enough to take the Tractor Boys to the Carling Cup final[LNB]  Blackpool rock!
