Gould appointed Weymouth manager

He was appointed as Wales manager in 1995 but quit four years later after their Euro 2000 qualification campaign began badly. Weymouth suffered a cash crisis earlier this season which caused many established players to walk out over unpaid wages. The run of 11 defeats included a 9-0 home thrashing by Rushden & Diamonds as the Terras were forced to field a virtual youth team.
