U's complete Potts loan deal

West Ham United's young left-back Dan Potts has joined Colchester United on an initial one-month loan deal.

Defender Potts, 18, is in contention to make his debut at MK Dons in League One on Saturday. Potts has been a regular for West Ham's Under-21 side and joins the U's to gain more first-team experience. The player has made two appearances for the Hammers this season in the Capital One Cup. Potts' loan deal runs up to and including the clash at Walsall on December 22.
