Former Deportivo La Coruna striker Diego Tristan could make his first start for West Ham United this weekend after featuring in the reserve team's game against Tottenham on Monday.
The 32-year-old Spaniard was an unused substitute in the weekend draw at Middlesbrough but could feature against Everton on Saturday after playing 45 minutes of the second string clash.
Reserve team boss Alex Dyer said after the game, which the Hammers lost 2-0: "It was Diego's first 45 minutes and he worked hard.
"He got a kick so we brought him off as a precaution but he has a good touch and is a good player. He brings people into the game well.
"The lads did very well, considering they were giving away a lot in terms of experience.
"They worked hard, especially in the first half and gave all they had. In the second half, they came out and started a little bit sloppily. Tottenham got on top, kept on playing and were passing the ball well."
