Solano plays waiting game
11 Oct 2007 - 14:19:27
West Ham United winger Nolberto Solano says is not too concerned at having failed to make his Hammers debut during more than a month at Upton Park.
The 32-year-old Peru wideman is currently away on international duty, having been made to wait for his breakthrough with the Irons since his arrival from Newcastle United on transfer deadline day.
However, Solano admitted: "I am not worried about the fact that I haven't played any game yet at West Ham.
"I have a lot of experience in football. It's true I am not playing, but I am calm about that.
"I don't forget that the season has only just started in England and I have a lot of experience in football."
Solano has been in England for nearly a decade, having enjoyed two spells with Newcastle, as well as spending 18 months with Aston Villa.
