Pro deal for starlet Brookes

West Ham have rewarded teenage defender Tony Brookes with his first professional contract. The 18-year-old has been with the club for a decade and has agreed a one-year deal with the Hammers. "It's a great honour to be picked by West Ham to get my first contract, I feel over the moon," he told the club`s official website. "The club have had many great players come through the ranks and hopefully I can be the next one. "I've been here since I was eight and hopefully I can carry on and get into the first team."
