N'Gala goes on loan

Young West Ham central defender Bondz N'Gala has joined Championship relegation threatened side Plymouth Argyle on a one month loan deal. The 20-year-old, 6ft defender has joined up with the Pilgrims squad in preparation for their game with Coventry City on Saturday. Plymouth Argyle coach Paul Mariner told the Herald, “He’s a very strong, uncompromising defender but he has got more ability than an archetypal Championship defender. “He has been on our radar for a while, and he came in for a week’s training last month. “We wanted to keep him but circumstances meant it didn’t happen. West Ham had to do some things and they had some injuries. “Now they have got players coming back and Gianfranco Zola and (assistant boss) Stevie Clarke are letting him out to us. We are very grateful.”
