Jarvis nearing Irons return

West Ham record-signing Matt Jarvis could be back in action after the international break for the trip to Norwich.

The £10.75million arrival from Wolves, who made his debut in the defeat at Swansea, missed the 3-0 win over Fulham because of a thigh injury, but is expected to resume training ahead of the televised clash at Carrow Road. Midfielder Jack Collison has been sidelined by a knee injury, but the 23-year-old hopes to be back in action soon.

He said: "I'm pretty much there or thereabouts. I just need to get some minutes under my belt."
