    Irons dish out more deals

    22 Aug 2007 - 13:03:52

West Ham United have handed new four-year contracts to goalkeeper Robert Green and midfielder Mark Noble.

The duo join Danny Gabbidon and James Collins in penning fresh terms with the Hammers which take them up until the summer of 2011.

England international Green, 27, moved to Upton Park just over a year ago from Norwich City and quickly established himself as the club's first-choice keeper.

Twenty-year-old Noble has become a regular in the Hammers midfield in recent months, having previously impressed during loan spells with Hull City and Ipswich Town.

He told the club's official website:" I am delighted to have sorted out a new deal.

"After ending the season on such a high and being so involved with the team it is great for the club to show their belief in me by offering me a new contract.

"It is common knowledge just how much this club means to me, so it was an easy decision to commit my future here."
