West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola has confirmed his interest in signing Internazionale midfielder Luis Jimenez. The Chile international has endured an injury-plagued two-year spell with the Italian champions following a 2007 move from Ternana in Serie B. However, Zola believes the creative midfielder would be a perfect fit at Upton Park. Speaking about the 19-times capped international, Zola said: "Let's hope we can sign him. He is one of those who play the way I like." Zola though has conceded he may face work permit difficulties when attempting to sign the South American. Jimenez is not a regular for Chile under current coach Marcelo Bielsa. "It's not easy to sign non-EU players in England but I think these problems can be solved," he added.
