Hammers chief Duxbury quits club

West Ham chief executive Scott Duxbury has resigned following the club's takeover by David Sullivan and David Gold last week.Sullivan and Gold bought a 50% stake in the Londoners and immediately brought in Karren Brady, with whom they worked at Birmingham City, as vice-chairman. And Duxbury has now stepped down, saying: "I wish Mr Sullivan, Mr Gold and Karren great success. "I know under their stewardship this wonderful club will prosper."
