Diamanti struggling to adapt

West Ham United forward Alessandro Diamanti is struggling to adapt to life in England following an admission from his former club president.
The 26-year-old Italian has scored two goals in ten appearances in all competitions for the Hammers this season following his arrival from Livorno on a five-year contract during the summer.
However, Livorno president Aldo Spinelli has lifted the lid on Diamanti's struggles to adjust to life in the Premier League.
Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola admitted it was a gamble to sign a player who had never featured in the top-flight of Italian football.
"Diamanti rang me, admitting that it is hard to get into the style of English football," said Spinelli.
"He earns so much money and is happy with the choice he made.
"Alessandro is a guy who three years ago was playing in the park and now is earning 5million euros in five years.
"For him, everything has happened so quick."
