Czech me out! Radoslav Kovac hopes his Hammer time isn't over as Sunderland circle

Radoslav Kovac intends to secure a move to England this summer and hasn't given up hope of re-signing for West Ham United. The Czech Republic international spent the second half of last season on loan at Upton Park but the Hammers decided against taking up the £4million option to complete a permanent transfer from Spartak Moscow. However, the 29-year-old has invited West Ham to renegotiate the deal and would also welcome interest from Sunderland over a move to German club Hannover 96. 'I hope that West Ham will still be able to come to an agreement with Spartak,' Kovac told Russian newspaper Sport Express. 'In principle, I wouldn't object to going to Hannover, but I would prefer to stay in England, where there is also interest from another Premier League club. 'I'm now on holiday in Prague and my contract with Spartak requires me to return to Moscow at the end of June. Perhaps by this time my future will be more certain.' Kovac made 10 appearances during his stint at West Ham, scoring once in the 3-1 defeat at Everton last month.
