West Ham boss Alan Curbishley has refuted claims that Anton Ferdinand and Lucas Neill could be in line for summer exits.
The defensive pair have been linked with moves away from Upton Park, with centre-half Ferdinand a reported target of Newcastle United and full-back Neill believed to be interesting Galatasaray.
However, Curbishley claims he has received no offers for either player and is keen to keep both at the club.
Instead the Hammers boss is keen to strengthen his squad despite further reports suggesting the Upton Park coffers are empty.
"I think everybody is jumping up and down and coming to their own conclusions. Let's just wait and see what happens to us," he told Sky Sports News.
"I did say at the end of the season that it was the size of the squad which held us together, because we had tremendous (injury) problems.
"There's a long way to go before that window closes and we want to improve the squad.
"I feel that if I get my best eleven out there we've got a decent side.
"I want to add a little bit more to that to get a bit more competition and we're working very hard to do that."
