West Ham United boss Alan Curbishley has added two new players to his squad after losing George McCartney and Anton Ferdinand to Sunderland in the last week.
The Hammers have snapped up Italian striker David Di Michele and Congolese left-back Herita Ilunga, subject to registration at the Premier League.
The club are also confident of eventually landing Ghana midfielder Stephen Appiah who can move to Upton Park outside of the transfer window as he is a free agent.
Di Michele and Ilunga arrive at the club on season-long loans from Torino and Toulouse respectively with a view to possible permanent transfers.
Thirty-two-year-old Di Michele previously played for Udinese, Reggina and Palermo before joining Torino last summer.
The former Italy international scored six times in 24 appearances for the Turin-based club last term.
Ilunga played for St Etienne before moving to Toulouse last year and featured in 35 Ligue 1 games for the club last season.
The Hammers have also confirmed the arrival of Hungarian teenager Balint Bajner on a season-long loan with a view to a possible permanent transfer.
