Carling Cup draw - first round 2011

ShareThe Carling Cup first round has thrown up intriguing derbies in Nottingham and Yorkshire. Steve McClaren's Nottingham Forest and Notts County will go head-to-head at the City Ground, while Leeds and Bradford will meet at Elland Road. Clash of the rivals: Steve McClaren has been handed a derby draw West Ham, relegated from the Barclays Premier League, will take on League Two side Aldershot. Crystal Palace will host near-neighbours Crawley or Wimbledon in the winner of their play-off tie. They must meet as holders Birmingham City play in the Europa League. Blackpool, the other relegated Premier League side in the draw, face a trip to face Sheffield Wednesday.
