Anton eyes United return

West Ham United defender Anton Ferdinand is hoping to make his comeback from injury in Saturday's clash with Manchester United.
The 22-year-old has been sidelined since October 30 with a hamstring problem but is hoping to receive the nod from Hammers boss Alan Curbishley to resume this weekend.
Ferdinand would also come up against his elder brother, Rio, should he face the Red Devils at Upton Park.
"The hamstring is better. I'm feeling good and back in contention," he told the club's official website.
"It is just great to be back involved with the boys, back involved at Upton Park and getting back out there on the pitch with the fans.
"I think this is the longest I have ever been out and I am just glad to be back in training and back involved with the team.
"All I can do is sit tight and wait for my opportunity. Hopefully when I get that opportunity I will take it with both hands.
"I would love to be involved against Manchester United. All I can do is keep doing well in training."
