West ham skipper Nigel Reo-Coker fears he could be made a scapegoat for the Hammers' recent troubles following the appointment of a new manager.
The 22-year-old midfielder earned the plaudits and a call up to the England squad for his performances last season but has struggled to recapture the same form this term.
Reo-Coker - who has been linked with a move to Arsenal - has been targeted by disgruntled Hammers fans this season and fears he may be sold in the January transfer window.
"Whoever the new boss is, it will be down to them whether I will still be here next year," he told The Sun.
"I've no idea what is going to happen in January. Everyone keeps saying I should be sacked and it's all my fault we've been doing so badly.
"Alan's departure was a shock to everyone. Alan is a really great bloke and I can't believe it has happened now."
"Now Pardew has gone it's only going to get worse for me with people pointing the finger."
