Hammer blow for Gabbidon

West Ham United centre-half Danny Gabbidon faces a month on the sidelines due to a hamstring tear suffered in the 1-0 win at home to Sheffield United.
The 27-year-old Wales stopper had to be replaced just past the hour mark against the Blades, with a subsequent scan showing a slight tear to his hamstring.
Hammers head physio Steve Allen told the club's official wbesite: "Danny has suffered a grade two tear to his lateral hamstring muscle, the estimated recovery time before he is back playing again is around four weeks.
"We are hopeful that he may be back sooner than that, but his recovery won't be rushed."
Gabbidon himself added: "Obviously it's a major disappointment for me.
"I hadn't felt my hamstring at all before the actual injury occurred, so it's just one of those unfortunate things that can happen in football."
