Skipper wants striker stay
Brunt hoping for Lukaku return
Baggies captain Chris Brunt hopes on loan striker Romelu Lukaku returns to The Hawthorns next season.
The Chelsea striker’s spell at Albion ends after Sunday’s game against Manchester United.
Lukaku has made a massive impact at the Baggies after finding the net 14 times in the league and was chosen by the club’s supporters as their end of season theme against Norwich last weekend.
“If we can keep the squad together, make a few additions like we did last season, and hopefully hold on to ‘Rom’, there is no reason why we can’t improve again next season,” said Brunt.
“It would be quite difficult for us to replace his goals next season.”
