Newcastle to kick off the BBC's live Championship coverage

Newcastle are set to wear their lovely new away kit in front of the live BBC cameras at West Brom on August 8. The BBC have revealed the opening four of 10 games to be screened next season when live Championship football returns to the channel for the first time in more than 20 years. Newcastle feature in the first two, away to West Bromwich Albion on August 8 and Ipswich on September 26, followed by Derby v QPR (October 24) and Cardiff v Nottingham Forest (November 1). The games will also be streamed live on the BBC website in the UK, which will also show all the goals from every game in the Football League, Carling Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
