West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison has warned his colleagues that they should not expect to leave the club if they are relegated from the Premier League.
The 22-year-old Scotland international remains hopeful of helping the Baggies beat the drop, but is aware that an immediate return to the Championship is a real possibility.
He told the Express & Star: "I've got enough on my hands trying to stay in the league and that's all I'm thinking about at the moment.
"People wouldn't be happy going back down, but it would our fault if we did.
"We are the ones who go on the pitch, and, if we are down there, we've got to prove we are good enough to get back up."
Morrison was linked with a move to Bolton Wanderers in the January transfer window, but rejected a possible £2million switch.
