Forgotten man John Hartson wants to see out his contract with West Bromwich Albion, according to the striker's agent.
Hartson sat out the last three months of the recently completed season after being told by manager Tony Mowbray that he wasn't part of his first-team plans.
But the veteran Welshman's representative, Jonathan Barnett, claims Hartson is happy to stay at The Hawthorns for the remaining 12 months of his contract.
"John is happy at West Brom and still has a year left on his contract," he told the Birmingham Mail.
"He would like to challenge for a more regular place, but hopefully next season could be a good season for him."
The 32-year-old former Celtic striker started just 16 games in his first season with the Baggies.
