Five out for Baggies

Roberto Di Matteo will be without five players for West Brom`s Carling Cup trip to Bury due to the international schedule. Defenders Marek Cech (Slovakia) and Abdoulaye Meite (Ivory Coast) and midfielders Chris Brunt (Northern Ireland), Robert Koren (Slovenia) and Youssouf Mulumbu (DR Congo) are all away with their respective countries and will not travel to Gigg Lane. That means Di Matteo will be forced to make at least four changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Newcastle on the opening weekend. New signing Joe Mattock will come straight in to make his debut at left-back in place of Cech. Ishmael Miller (knee) is sidelined while fellow striker Roman Bednar remains suspended by the Baggies. Midfielder James Morrison (heel) and defender Neil Clement (knee) are also set to miss out as they look to build up their fitness following injury. Di Matteo told Albion`s official website: "I`m missing five players so there`s going to be changes. We don`t want to change the whole team because I want to get to the next round in the cup. We have to make sure we have a good team on the pitch."
