West Brom duo Do-Heon Kim and Filipe Teixeira could return to action ahead of schedule, according to Baggies boss Tony Mowbray.
South Korea international Kim suffered medial ligament damage to his knee at Middlesbrough four weeks ago and was originally ruled out for up to two months.
He could be back in action in the next fortnight though, as could Teixeira who is close to a training return after suffering a calf strain ten days ago.
"Filipe isn't back training with the team yet but will hopefully train on Monday," said Mowbray. "I hope he'll see first-team action within the next two weeks.
"Kim should be ready in a week or two, which will create more competition in midfield. Both Filipe and Kim are good players.
"They bring slightly different things to the team and will give us more options.
"The more good players we've got the better chance we'll have of winning matches.
"Hopefully, Abou (Meite) will train with the physios on Monday - with his boots on and kicking the ball about - before coming back in with the team."
