West Bromwich Albion star Graham Dorrans believes he is reaping the benefits of the Baggies' new-look five-man midfield.

The Scotland international scored two penalties in the FA Cup fourth round victory against Championship rivals Newcastle United on Saturday to take him into double figures for the season.

With Albion making the trip to face Roy Keane's Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Tuesday night, he hopes for more of the same.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "As long as I am playing I'm happy - but the five in midfield means there is a bit of protection in behind you.

"Youssouf Mulumbu is there and if Robert Koren goes forward I protect him. It's great. I'm enjoying it at the moment and long may it continue.

"There are lots of big games, starting at Ipswich first and foremost."
